The idea of this stream is that the part you have just played will be erased form your HD, and will be buffered what you are just about going to see (if there is enough bandwidth left... which usually is HUGE problem within the first couple of hours of the post).
Those who do get to download it, usually find some cool way to keep the cache all on HD without it being erased. Some clever software is used most of the time.
You'll find torrents of the whole Keynote somewhere tomorrow on the 'net... ;)

The weather is doing it's best to mix things up! I have to say Wintermute made a good point earlier, the 3rd test was hampered by rain, we could have that urn already in that respect.
However, I'd love for a proper battle like we've seen before, rather than a wash out. Let's see what tomorrow brings...

An autobiography?
I'd much rather read a Jobs biography and Apple history told by his employees.
I think there's a ton of hidden history and unsung heroes who will remain anonymous as long as Jobs is alive.
+1 on that. I definitely do think this biography will add to the story, you know, having his official input and all. But the most accurate picture we'll ever get will be a combination of 'facts' sourced from friends, family, colleagues, competitors, Steve, and, yes absolutely, former employees. Possibly even the most insightful ones (at least as far the Apple side of his life goes).

People with PCs must not leave their houses much...I've been to coffee shops and airports all over, and it seems about half of the laptops I see are Apple.
There's something strange about coffee shops and Mac laptops. They seem to attract the same crowd. Hanging out in coffee bars toying on a Macbook - it does have a certain, almost clicheed, image, doesn't it?

This argument is getting old. The iPhone 3GS is available for $50.
Right on...now, adoption certainly is being pushed by low priced models (as well as expensive ones). I gave my wife my iP4 32GB, and got a new line on ATT...got a BB Torch, cause at 50.00 the only competition was a 3GS. Point being, Android has alot of HW options to spread it's OS...with Apple, youve got 3.

Well, considering Core Solo is bound to be much cheaper than Core 2 Duo, I'd say that's a good COST reason to keep it.I doubt there will be much difference. If fact I doubt Core Solo will continue to be made beyond this Winter.

Apple has a tall hill to climb if they want to beat FREE google maps on android? But since it will be on iOS, ignorance is bliss, and people will think its the best thing ever.
You keep your widgets and "free" Google maps on Android. I'll take a robust catalog of quality apps on iOS.
At least I can buy a good nav app for iOS. You can't buy (at any price) a vast number of the highly-polished and functional applications and games I can get on my iOS devices.
